SLDC Speaks to Urban Golf of Greater St. Louis' UCamp

On July 18, our President and CEO, Neal Richardson, had an amazing opportunity to inspire young golfers by emphasizing the importance of setting goals and showing them how to achieve them. It was incredible to see their enthusiasm and ambition as they shared their dreams of becoming millionaires, securing a great job to support their future families and owning their dream homes! 

SLDC’s VP of Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives, Stephen Davis, also joined the event and had a blast working with the kids on perfecting their putt! ⛳ He encouraged them to see not only the competitive side of the sport but also the incredible fun and numerous benefits it offers. 

SLDC believes in turning dreams into reality, which is why our Economic Justice Action Plan is committed to creating long-lasting programming that will support the aspirations of these talented young golfers. Through this partnership with Urban Golf of Greater St. Louis, we aim to address the need for more representation of young Black leadership and strategically grow the game of golf in urban areas across St. Louis and beyond! 

SLDC looks forward to continuing its partnership with Urban Golf STL to empower more young talents in our community.
