Deion Broxton Joins SLDC as VP, Communications & Public Affairs
St. Louis Development Corporation, the independent economic development agency serving the City of St. Louis, is pleased to welcome Deion Broxton as Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs. In his new role, Broxton will lead efforts to elevate SLDC’s visibility and strengthen its brand across media channels, government partnerships and community outreach.
“We are excited that Deion is bringing his talents to SLDC. His familiarity with St. Louis and commitment to accurate, impactful storytelling will be an asset as we continue advancing our economic justice mission,” said SLDC’s President & CEO, Neal Richardson. “Deion’s role will be pivotal in shaping SLDC’s public image, managing strategic communications and building positive relationships with the media and key stakeholders.”

“After several years at KMOV, I wanted to transition into an environment where my journalistic skills could benefit the City of St. Louis. Fortunately, an opportunity became available at SLDC,” Broxton said. “I've covered North St. Louis for three years. There are good stories to be told there and across all of St. Louis. I'm choosing to be part of the solution.”
