Join Green City Coalition and Counterpublic for a groundbreaking event to celebrate the kick-off of the first phase of construction, nearly six years after residents launched their plan to revitalize Peace Park. College Hill neighbors and friends are invited to view the final park designs and construction plans, visit with the artist and learn about future art installations, and celebrate our progress with food, refreshment, and community. The groundbreaking will also feature a sculpture installation by artist Jordan Weber. 

Green City Coalition is a formal partnership between the City of St. Louis, St. Louis Development Corporation, Missouri Department of Conservation, and Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District working collaboratively with member organizations and neighbors to convert vacant and abandoned properties to new community-owned green spaces that promote healthy, biodiverse, and resilient neighborhoods.
